We have already scheduled the fundraisers for this year. Please note that fundraising is mandatory for every athlete.
There will be 4 fundraisers besides our 3 concession stands. As you can see with the 2 early concessions and the 4 listed below, we will be done with all fundraising by end of March. Your help in making these are success is greatly appreciated.
Coupon Books (January 5th at the Clinic) –Books sale for $20 each. This fundraiser will run for 2 weeks. You will receive 1 book to show when selling and once you turn in your money, you will receive the remaining books. All monies are due January 21, 2013. Prizes will be given to over achievers.
Jog-a-thon (February 23rd) –This is a super easy fundraiser. Each individual is responsible for getting at the minimum 10 sponsors; each at 50 cents per lap for 20 laps (5 miles). Sheets will be emailed but also available at the Clinic and practice. Monies and sheets are due 2/4/13. Please note that you can raise as much as you like as there is no maximum amount. Gifts will be provided for top performers. There will be entertainment and refreshments the day of the jog-a-thon.
Gold Canyon Candles (March 4th) –You will get your sheets on March 4th to sale candles. Each athlete is responsible for selling $100 worth of candles (approx 4 candles) for the fundraiser. Again you can sell more if you can. Fundraiser will run for 2 weeks ending on March 18, 2013. All monies and forms are due Monday, March 18, 2013. Gifts will be provided for top performers.
Honeybears Team Building Night & Fundraiser (End of March) –
Night out at Honeybears to socialize and get to know team and coaches as well as make money for the team. Everyone is welcome so invite your friends and family for a night of fun, food and entertainment. Tickets are required to be presold at $10 per ticket. More details to follow.
As stated fundraisers are mandatory but you can opt out by paying $200 up front. However, we would like everyone to participate in the fundraisers. This does not include concessions.
We have concessions for the January 26th, February 2nd and May4th track meets. Every family is required to donate at least 2 Cases of Water and 1 Case of Gatorade for each concession stand. Please start bringing your donations of drinks and nonperishables starting Saturday, January 5th.
If you can donate more please do. We will need lots of water, Gatorade, Capri Suns, Soda, Candy, Chips, Cookies and other items for the team to sale. The concessions stands are part of our fundraising efforts and the more funds raised the more we have to help athletes who cannot afford the costs involved in participating.
If you have any connections for buns, hot dogs, pizza, links, hamburgers or any other items we can sell or can donate these items let us know.
You are also required to work in the concession stands. Schedules will be created. If you know of people that need community service, please have them contact me and they can get their hours through helping us out. Please note that we still have to work the clerking table at every track meet.
